The International Federation of Catholic Universities has more than 220 member universities on all continents. Among these, 6 are located in Lebanon: Notre Dame University Louaize, Antonine University, La Sagesse University, Saint Esprit University of Kaslik, Holy Family University and Saint Joseph University of Beirut.

Given the health crisis that has affected all our activities, IFCU has reviewed its range of training courses in order to respond as quickly as possible to the challenges of distance learning and training, but also to propose updated and rethought training courses in the context of the pandemic.

Our Federation is embarking on a policy of partnership, based both on institutional development and on capacity building of administrative and teaching staff. We are pleased to present here the partnership between IFCU and the African Catholic Universities.

Since 2018, the IFCU created an endowment fund to support academic and social cooperation projects. This year, the board of management of the Laudato Si’ Fund decided to support an integral ecology project implemented by the Laudato Si’ Observatory (OLS) of the Catholic Univerity of Costa Rica.

On October 22nd, 2019, 11 teachers and caregivers took part in the first IFCU-Handicap Project outreach workshop in the Université Catholique de Lille, France.
